M-F-S: Three factors to shape the luxury brand of fashion TAILE

With Modern (M), Futuristic (F) and Sporty (S), the fashion brand TAILE has quickly positioned itself in the luxury segment in many countries. Vietnam will be the next destination for talented fashion designer Tai Le.

Designer Tai Le has a very clear vision of positioning the TAILE brand on Vietnamese and international fashion maps.

Designer Tai Le had an impressive background of education and accumulated experience before he decided to launch TAILE in 2017. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing from the University in Boston. Then, he graduated with an excellent degree in fashion design with the award "Student of the Year 2017" at the U.S's most prestigious design school - Parsons School of Fashion. During his time in the US, he also practiced and worked for world-famous fashion brands such as Giorgio Armani, Zara, Banana Republic, BCBG MaxAzria. Tai Le was one of 3 students chosen by the fashion Giant Inditex to present the Design Collection for Zara fashion brand in the contest "The Invisible Project" in Spain.

The year 2017 marked the beginning of the fashion career of Tai Le. After accumulating enough experience in the fashion and business fields, he boldly launched the brand TAILE. He was immediately invited to attend the Hongkong Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week in 2018 and 2019, respectively. This brand has set up flagship stores in Flying Solo (New York), Novelty Lane, Fashion Walk Kingston (Hongkong), Modern Showroom (Milan), Nass Boutique (Kuwait), 1422 Ready Couture Arab Fashion Council (Dubai), Studio 183 (Berlin) and 58 Farriers Street (London) before being present in his home country Vietnam last April. With just over 3 years of launch, TAILE has resonated strongly with domestic and international fans, the brand continues to expand with the 8th flagship store worldwide and the first in Vietnam at the lobby of the 5-star hotel CARAVELLE SAIGON, HCM City, Vietnam.

Designer TAI LE chooses to locate the brand’s flagship showroom inside CARAVELLE hotel is that it comes from the idea of combining high fashion with international luxury 5-star hotel experience. Not only introducing luxury fashion products, but designer TAI LE also wants customers to experience a high-class shopping style. Caravelle Saigon has been known as a high-class long-established 5-star hotel located in a prime location in Saigon. Caravelle Saigon meets all the requirements that Tai Le has looked for to officially bring his brand to Vietnamese customers.

The showroom design was conceptualized by the Japanese corporation with 200 years of history ZYCC, headquartered in Tokyo. ZYCC's list of clients includes big players that are no stranger to the international fashion scene such as Hermès, Burberry, Globe-Trotter, MaxMara together with other major shopping centers in Japan such as Takashimaya. The showroom design is inspired by Japanese contemporary architecture, in particular, following the style of famous architect Kengo Kuma, representing something perfectly simple and elegant with the effective use of white and gray as the main colors. All interior materials such as Carrara White Marble, curtain fabrics, sheepskin, mannequins, and scented candles are imported from leading Italian furniture suppliers such as Mariotti, FRETTE and Hans. The showroom construction was also an equally meticulous process. Designer Tai Le has made a name for himself with collections with three distinctive elements: Modern, Futuristic and Sporty. To celebrate the important launch of this first Flagship Store in Vietnam, designer Tai Le decided to make the debut of a special collection 'TAILE Signature Collection 2021' with designs that most clearly show off his distinctive style. Tai Le has chosen pastel blue to s in combination with familiar white and gray tones in his design style, regarding the main color gamut. Explaining this, Tai Le said the bright pastel color in ‘TAILE Signature Collection 2021’ represents hope for a promising future of the TAILE brand in Vietnam.

In terms of materials, Tai Le used lace made from 100% cotton mixed with silk, creating a very unique and completely different effect from the common lace fabrics. Other fabric materials such as thick satin fabric made of silk, spandex, waterproof polyester, etc. are carefully processed, dyed, woven with the most modern Japanese technology, under OEKO-TEX 100 to not harm the environment and cause negative impacts on the producer. All fabrics used in the Collection are very light in weight, making them feel comfortable to wear. 100% of products are sewn in 2 layers and lined with fabrics made from cotton - silk to ensure that it is suitable for the weather and climate of Vietnam and does not fade when washing. Materials on the product, still buttons, zippers, zippers that have the brand's own logo are made of palladium material, designed and manufactured exclusively with famous corporations such as YKK (Japan) and Riri (Switzerland), and have a stamp issued by the Ministry of Public Security.

Another special highlight of the TAILE brand is the “MADE IN ITALY” handbag line, offering a seasonal limited collection specifically designed to complement the ready-to-wear clothing collection each season. Three silver handbag designs in the bucket shape, the messenger style and the cross-strap style are introduced in this collection to create a perfect handbag combination for every woman, which is suitable and appropriate for work, outing, traveling and is guaranteed to satisfy even the most demanding customer.
